3. R Series Helical Gear Reducer
1) Main components are based on modular, serial design to manufacture.
2) Adopt singe stage, two-stage or three-stage gear reduction, the input shaft is basically coaxial with the output shaft.
3) Adopt standard or non-standard motor interface, foot installation, Flange installation and Shaft installation.
4) Gear adopts high quality low carbon alloy steel carbon steel carburizing and quenching.

5. Mounting Position
DONLY differentiates between six mounting positions M1...M6 for gear units and gearmotors. The following figure shows the position of the gear unit in mounting positions M1-M6.
6. Position of terminal box and cable entry
The position of the motor terminal box has so far been specified indicated with L(left), R(right), T(top) or B(bottom) as viewed onto the output shaft.
The position of the cable entry can be selected as well. The positions are equal to standard position, "1", "2"or "3".
7. Output Flange
On request, we can provide various output flanges for flange-mounted gear units and gearmotors. Please see following table.
8. Surface Protection:
In addition to standard surface protection, DONLY also have the option of surface protection SP1 to SP4 for different applications.
