Danny Noppert thrashed Daryl Gurney last night at the 2022 World Matchplay to reach the Quarter-Finals in Blackpool and among the brilliance was a blind 180 which John Part said was more than an exhibition showpiece shot.

"It was a bit of fun. It was really just ok, I'm going to do it I'm going with it. I think what a great statement about it is that beside the exhibition nature of the 180, it's saying how composed he is right now playing darts on the big PDC stages," said Part on Sky Sports.

"He's completely matured, he's completely at home. He's capable of anything, he's not going to inhibit himself in anyway on the serious big shots for instance the 132. He's just feeling like he can do anything and he's not afraid to express himself."
