The Ridgefield Playhouse has announced three new shows to their 2023 line up!

Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band makes their The Ridgefield Playhouse debut on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 8pm, featuring the electrifying rock stars from the original Broadway cast! Known as Broadway’s Best Party, this electrifying show stars Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis - Vocals (American Idol, Jekyll & Hyde), Joel Hoekstra - Guitar (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberien Orchestra), Tommy Kessler - Guitar (Blondie), Winston Roye - Bass (Soul Asylum, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), Jonathan Ivie - Keyboards (Air Supply, Americano The Musical), Jon Weber - Drums (Wille Nile, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Love Janis), and Josephine Rose Roberts - Vocals (Cats, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Electric Company).  On Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 7pm is Linda Eder, Broadway star, vocalist and recording artist.

Showcasing one of the greatest voices of our time,she is best known for originating the role of Lucy in her Theater World Award-winning performance in the Broadway production of Jekyll and Hyde. A best-selling recording artist with fourteen solo albums to her credit, Eder brings a diverse repertoire spanning Broadway, Standards, Pop, Country, and Jazz. Part of the Teed & Brown Broadway & Cabaret Series.

Grammy Award winners and classic rock favorites, America, return to The Playhouse on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 8pm with a night of hits spanning their 50-year career after a sold out show in 2019! Founding members, songwriters and guitarists Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell will perform the band’s greatest hits - “Horse With No Name,” “Sister Golden Hair,” “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Don’t Cross the River,” “Tin Man,” “Lonely People” and many more more!  It was also announced that submissions are open for BandJam12: Rock The House, which The Playhouse will host on April 22, 2023! Connecticut’s definitive music competition is back for its 12th year, and this time it’s bigger and better! This year’s event will include several new and exciting changes, which will give artists the strongest platform possible, plenty of exposure, exciting prizes, and enough content to fill a press kit. Submissions are open now through January 13, 2023. Musicians must be 16+.
